Air Monitoring & Filtration System Brief.

Problem statement:
There is currently no comprehensive, affordable and user-friendly system to monitor and improve air quality within the home. 

Product vision: 
Design an innovative and aesthetically pleasing air monitoring system that tracks various allergens, pollutants and hazardous vapors, as well as eliminates many of these irritants from the home/small office.

Target audience: 
Home users that are concerned about air pollutants, but want a stylish product that they are proud to display in the home.

How It Works.
Breathe’s V6 engine pulls in air through the HEPA filter and then through the air flow channels.  The filtered air is then forced over the aero blade.  Air is pushed around two different paths of the aero blade which result in a difference of pressure forcing air downwards. There is also a secondary foam filter that filters out larger particulates. This allows for longer HEPA filter run times, which are costly to replace.

The associated Breathe app allows the user to track the effects of airborne pollutants and allergens on their health.  The home page shows the user their max threshold limit, which can indicate when they are likely to have asthma and or allergy attacks. All the data is graphed for the user to analyses and track over time.
